In a colourful and well-attended political gathering, Hon. Moses Tersoo Adinya has formally decamped to the All Progressives Congress (APC). The official presentation took place as his ward chairman, Alhaji Abubakar Ada, introduced him to the Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC) APC Chairman, Alhaji Saidu Yaro.

The event, held in Orozo Ward, was graced by prominent party figures, including the Councillor of Orozo Ward, Hon. Maikeffi Nyawosa, and Hon. Edwin Poyi, the APC flag bearer for Councillor in Orozo Ward, and other party officials.

The Tiv community in Orozo Ward came out in large numbers to witness and support the defection. Among the supporters were the Kasev mba faan kwagh women group, alongside several Tiv traditional chiefs under Orozo, adding both cultural pride and grassroots strength to the occasion.

Hon. Adinya’s move to the APC was not made in isolation—he defected with all his supporters and loyalists, further boosting the party’s numerical and political influence in the ward.
In his welcome address, AMAC APC Chairman, Alh. Saidu Yaro, commended Hon. Adinya for his decision, describing it as a bold step towards unity and progress. He assured the new entrant of the party’s readiness to work with him in advancing development at both the ward and council levels.
Speaking at the event, Hon. Adinya expressed his excitement at joining the APC, noting that his decision was driven by the party’s vision for inclusive governance and grassroots development. He pledged to work closely with party leaders and members to deliver on the aspirations of his constituents.
With songs, dances, and displays from the Tiv women’s group and traditional leaders, the event doubled as both a political declaration and a community celebration—marking a significant boost to APC’s strength in Orozo Ward ahead of future elections.
